Michael Cosgrove
Michael Cosgrove is Principal, The Econoclast®, Inc., the firm he founded in 1979. His op-eds have been featured and he has been quoted in media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Investor's Business Daily, Barron's, The Hill, and The Christian Science Monitor. Dr. Cosgrove publishes articles in academic journals such as the Journal of Academy of Business and Economics, Journal of Business and Behavioral Sciences, Futures Research Quarterly and Journal of International Finance and Economics. He is a member of The Wall Street Journal's survey and has been an invited member of Blue Chip Economic Indicators since 1983.
Prior to becoming Principal of The Econoclast®, Mike Cosgrove was Director, Strategy Development, at Gulf Oil. His Ph.D. in Economics is from The Ohio State University. Mike Cosgrove's book "The Cost of Winning - Global Development Policies and Broken Social Contracts," is published by Transaction Press/Rutgers University.
